With over two decades of diverse experience in financial management, Tina is a Chartered Accountant with experience in corporate finance, strategic planning, and business compliance. Her work spans telecommunications, hospitality, sports administration, and so forth, reflecting her adaptability and commitment to excellence across various sectors.

Tina currently holds a Certificate of Public Practice (CPP) from the Samoa Institute of Accountants. She has held pivotal roles in leading organizations, such as Chief Financial Officer for Digicel Samoa, Financial Consultant with Samoa Submarine Cable Company (SSCC), Financial Consultant for Lava Hotel, Financial Consultant for SkyEye Pacific to name a few.

Afoa has been a Chartered Accountant (CA) since 2004 (20 years), and still an active registered member of the Institute. She is now a Council Member for the Samoa Institute of Accountants since March 2023.

Afoa has worked for 17 years for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (Samoa) Trust, which is the temporal affairs arm of the Church, responsible for Samoa and American Samoa. Currently, she’s serving as a Leader Support and Country Manager for the past 7 years and prior to that, she was the Finance Manager for the same organization for 10 years. She is also the Chairwoman for the Board of Trustees of the Church of Jesus Christ (Samoa) Trust

Peseta Peter Tone is a highly accomplished and self-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) with extensive experience in financial management across diverse industries, including finance, telecommunications, and manufacturing. This diverse background has strengthened his ability to lead comprehensive improvement initiatives while ensuring strict adherence to quality standards.

Peseta has also served as a director at the Development Bank of Samoa, where he provided advisory support in risk management, financial oversight, internal audits, and governance. He is currently serving as CFO at the National Bank of Samoa, and as a Certified Chartered Accountant (CA: Samoa, CPA: Australia), his leadership and collaborative approach makes him a highly valuable asset.

Ms Moe Lene is a CA as well as an MBA graduate from the University of the South Pacific.  This is her second term in the Council as well as the Secretary.

She is the Finance Manager for the Samoa Ports Authority a post she holds for more than 7 years.  Before becoming the Secretary for the Council, Moe was an active member for the Social Committee who are responsible with fund raising and other social activities for the Institute.

Tiá Jaslyn is a newly appointed council member of the Institute for 2024-2025.

Tiá Jaslyn is a Director of the XSAO Consult Ltd and has more than 20 years of audit and accounting experience. She has vast working experiences and institutional knowledge of the public sector administration. A competent leader as she held senior management and leadership positions including the positions of Deputy Controller and Auditor General at the Samoa Audit Office (2019-2020), Finance and Corporate Service Manager of STEC (2017-2018), Chief Internal Auditor at EPC (2014-2015), Audit Director – Public Bodies Division at Samoa Audit Office. She is also a Certified Fraud Examiner and a member of the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE) – Samoa Chapter.

Lauano is the Finance Manager for the National Kidney Foundation of Samoa.
